1. Are there any restrictions on decorations?

Yes. For the protection of the property, the following items are not allowed:
No nails, No staples, No push pins, No holes of any kind, No duct tape, No tacks, No electrical tape, No double-sided tape, No transparent tape

Please speak with us if you have any questions about approved methods of decorating.

2. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
​
Yes! We have handicap parking located behind the building, as well as accessible restrooms on the bottom floor.

3. Do you have any rentals available for us to use?
​​
Yes! Included with your venue rental:
Tables and chairs
Large decorative letters that spell out “LOVE”

4. What are the booking requirements?
​
To officially book your event at Sugarfoot, we require:
A signed contract and A non-refundable retainer of 1/3 of your invoice total

5. When can I come for a tour?
​
Tours are by appointment only. We’re happy to accommodate your schedule as best we can—just let us know when you’d like to come by!

6. When do we get access to the venue, and when must we leave?
You have access to the venue starting at 10 AM.
Events must end by 8 PM.
If you need extended hours, let us know—we offer late-night packages that may be a perfect fit.

7. Can my pet be part of my event?
​
Yes! We love furry family members.
However, for the safety and comfort of all guests, pets must have a designated attendant on-site at all times. If needed, we can recommend a local vendor who offers on-site pet-sitting services.
Many couples include their pet for photos or the ceremony, then have them head home for the rest of the evening—just something to consider if your pet tires easily.

8. Can we have an engagement session or bridal photoshoot at the venue?
​
Yes! If you have a signed contract for your wedding at Sugarfoot, your package includes access to the outside property for engagement or bridal portraits before the big day.
Please let us know in advance to ensure no other event is scheduled at that time.
If you’re not hosting your wedding at Sugarfoot, you can still rent the venue property for a photoshoot at a rate of $60/hour.

9. Do I have to use your vendors?
​
You are welcome to bring your own vendors, as long as they are licensed and insured.

10. Do you require a planner or day-of coordinator?
​
Yes. At minimum, we require a day-of coordinator.
If you need recommendations, we’d be happy to connect you with trusted planners and coordinators.​​​​

11. Is there a kitchen area for caterers?
​
Yes! We provide the following catering prep facilities:

12. What Are Your Rules Alcohol And The Bar?
​
We allow Beer, Wine and 2 signature cocktails. If you are interested in a full bar or have Cultural Request, please let us know and we can open a dialogue about what you are needing.

Our designated bar, separate from the kitchen, is a built in bar. It has marble countertops inside, a sink and prep areas for the bartenders to utilize.

13. Is There An Inclement Weather Plan?
​
Don't stress! There is totally a backup plan. We're flexible and we've got you covered. We will move your ceremony inside to our elegant white walled auditorium. We have a game plan ready if needed. Rain or shine we are prepared.

14.What Is Your Cancelation Policy Or Rescheduling Policy?
​
If you have booked you event with us and need to cancel we require BOTH, a written notice 90 days before the event date and a signed cancellation contract. After the cancellation contract is signed you are no longer responsible for any future payments. All payments made to this date are non refundable.

If you are needing to reschedule your event date after booking, there is a rescheduling fee of $500.
​
15. When Is My Final Payment Due?
​
We require Your invoice total to be paid in Full no ;later than 60 days before your event. One third of the total balance is due at the time of booking. Then there are two other installments. If you have questions about this please let us know, we are happy to explain.

16. Do You Offer Any Discounts?
​
We do not currently offer any discounts!
​
17. Are There Any Restrictions On The Event Exit?
​
We are happy to accommodate most all exit types. Sparklers and Bubbles can only be used outside of the venue on the concrete or grass. Birdseed and fake flower petals and not to be used on the property. For real petals , we ask that you please have someone clean up after the exit or there will be a fee of $100. you will be charged after the event.

17.Can we Smoke on the Property? ​
​
There is NO smoking or vaping inside the venue. With our woodland setting, for safety, we do not allow smoking or vaping outside our designated smoking areas. If is found smoking or vaping inside the building there will be a fee of $500. for cleaning that you will be invoiced for after the event.

18. Are There Any Restrictions On Decorations i Should Know About?
​
You will not need much for Decorations with our chandeliers and white walls. If you must hang something we only allow command strips or command hooks to be used.
​
NO NAILS, STAPLES, PUSH PINS, HOLES, MASKING TAPE, DUCK TAPE, ELECTRICAL TAPE, TRANSPARENT TAPE, DOUBLE STIK TAPE, may be used on the property.

19. Is There Wheelchair Accessibility?
​
Yes! We have designated Parking sites, bathroom accessibility, and smooth flooring indside and concrete all around the outside ofm the building.
