WHY SUPERVISION MATTERS

Dear Couples & Guests,

We love seeing families come together to celebrate love, and we know how special it is to include children in your big day. However, to ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all children are supervised at all times while on the property.

Here’s Why Supervision Matters:

Safety First:

Our venue includes water features, (A VERY LARGE POND) uneven ground, decor elements, and equipment that can be dangerous to unsupervised children.

Protect the Moment:

Running, yelling, or crying during key moments—like the ceremony, speeches, or dances—can be disruptive to the couple and the experience they’ve dreamed of.

Respect for the Space:

We work hard to keep our venue beautiful. Unsupervised play can lead to broken décor, spilled drinks, or even damaged equipment.

Vendor Focus:

Photographers, caterers, and musicians need space and focus to do their best work—something that’s tough with little ones underfoot.

Happy Guests:

Not every guest may appreciate noise, interruptions, or the occasional chaos. Keeping children close ensures everyone has a great time.

We recommend assigning a family member to help monitor kids, hiring a wedding sitter, or creating a kid-friendly activity space (we’re happy to help with ideas!).

Thank you for understanding and helping make every wedding here as magical, safe, and stress-free as possible.

With love,

The Sugarfoot Team
